Phonics is a method of teaching reading and spelling that emphasizes the relationship between letters and sounds. It helps your child decode words by understanding letter-sound correspondences, which is crucial for reading fluency and spelling.
Learning style and emotional intelligence (EQ) play key roles in helping your child learn phonics effectively.
Learning Style: Every child learns differently-some may prefer visual aids, others may learn best through listening or hands-on activities. Tailoring phonics lessons to your child’s preferred learning style can make the process more engaging and effective.
Emotional Intelligence (EQ): EQ helps your child manage feelings, build self-confidence, and stay motivated. A child with high EQ is more likely to persist through challenges and celebrate progress, both of which are important when learning phonics.
Before classes begin, we will assess your child's learning style, EQ, and skill level, and share a detailed report with the parents. After each level, we will provide an update on your child's progress toward the set goals.
Most children begin phonics instruction around age 4 to 6, typically when they are in preschool or kindergarten. However, each child learns at their own pace, and some might benefit from starting earlier or later.
We have transformed over 7000+ children between the age 3.5 and 12yrs across the globe through this online program. We have a limited student teacher ratio. Through our expert teachers and teaching tools and methodologies, we ensure every child has a positive learning outcome. Online classes come with the advantage of learning from the comfort of your home. Parents get an opportunity to watch their child's learning experience online.
LIVE online classes are conducted through zoom. There are no pre-recorded videos and this is a LIVE interactive class.
Your child can attend the class independently if they know how to use zoom. If your child is unaware, any adult or siblings can help them connect until they get used to the routine.
Progress in phonics can be measured by your child's ability to identify letter sounds, blend those sounds together to read words, and recognize familiar words quickly. Our teachers conduct assessments to track your child's development in phonics and update their progress during parent teacher meeting. We insist on daily practice work to help you see their progress.
