Summer loss, also known as the summer slide, refers to the learning loss that students may experience due to lack of academic engagement or enrichment activities during the summer break. When school resumes, many children experience a lag in their academic progress, needing time to relearn previously covered material.

Summer fun is in full swing as Arise ‘n’ Shine’s Camp Discovery kicked off this April, welcoming children aged 2 to 12 for a joyful season filled with learning, laughter, and adventure.

One of the most valuable options for young learners is attending a summer camp. Summer camps offer much more than just a break from school—they provide an opportunity for children to explore new interests, acquire fresh skills, and recharge their batteries for the upcoming academic year.
